Day 1:

Johannesburg to Hazyview via Panarama Route


Morning collection from your Johannesburg based hotel, before travelling north via the magnificent Panorama Route.

Panorama Route

From many well positioned vantage points, take in the view of the 33 km long gorge, which starts at Bourkes Luck Potholes and ends at the Three Rondavels. Stop at Gods Window (time and weather permitting).


Late afternoon arrival at your hotel for check in and freshen up before dinner.

Day 2:

Full Day Safari in Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park

Embark on an early morning open vehicle safari game drive through the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Optional: discuss the availability of an additional afternoon game drive your guide.

Day 3:

Haziview to Swaziland


Travel through Mpumulanga to the Royal Kingdom of Swaziland.


Once in Mbabane, enjoy a showcase of the Swazi culture followed by a traditional lunch at the Matsamo Cultural Village. Continue to the Ngwenya Glass Works to see master craftsmen create beautiful sculptures and artwork from molten glass.

Day 4:

Swaziland to Zululand


After a morning visit to the Swazi Candle Factory, continue to KwaZulu Natal via Big Bend.


After check-in, embark on an afternoon scenic drive up the Lebombo Mountains, combined with a visit to a local and authentic Zulu homestead for a glimpse into Zulu life in todays world.

Day 5:

Mkhuze and Hluhluwe


Enjoy the morning at leisure, embarking on activities on offer from the hotel.

Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve

After lunch (to own account), transfer to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve for an afternoon of game viewing.


Return to the hotel in the late afternoon to freshen up before dinner.

Day 6:

Mkhuze to Durban via iSimangaliso Wetland Park


Journey along the Elephant Coast of KwaZulu Natal to St Lucia, located at the southern extremity of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, and embark on an estuarine boat trip.


Continue to Durban for an afternoon arrival at your hotel.

Day 7:

Durban and Port Elizabeth


Depending on the departure time of your flight, embark on a morning city tour of Durban – a cosmopolitan city where east meets west. Thereafter depart on your flight to Port Elizabeth.

Transfer to your Port Elizabeth hotel spending the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 8:

Port Elizabeth to Plettenberg Bay

Port Elizabeth

Travel via the coastline to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park – Garden of the Garden Route. Enjoy a walk along the suspension bridge across the Storms River mouth gorge offering incredible views.

Plettenberg Bay

Continue to Plettenberg Bay for dinner and overnight.

Day 9:

Plettenberg Bay area

Plettenberg Bay

After breakfast visit Birds of Eden, the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world. Proceed to Hog Hollow Horse Trails for a horse-drawn carriage and wine tasting experience followed by lunch (to own account). Return to the lodge for the remainder of the afternoon at leisure before dinner. Optional: discuss the availability of additional activities on offer in the area with your guide.

Day 10:

Plettenberg Bay to Oudtshoorn via Knysna

Plettenberg Bay

After breakfast and check-out formalities, proceed on a cruise up the Keurbooms River.


Continue to Knysna and enjoy some leisure time at the Knysna Waterfront before travelling to Oudtshoorn, the feather capital of the world.


Visit a working ostrich farm for a guided tour. Check into your accommodation in the late afternoon before enjoying dinner.

Day 11:

Oudtshoorn to Cape Town via Route 62


Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves, one of the natural wonders of the world, before departing Oudtshoorn.

Travel via the Route 62 meandering through the countryside to Barrydale.

Cape Town

After lunch (to own account) continue onward to Cape Town.

Day 12:

Cape Point and Peninsula Tour

Cape Town

Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay to Hout Bay. Continue via Chapmans Peak to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Then onward to the historic Simons Town, a village with charming architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. End the day with a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day 13:

Cape Winelands Tour

Cape Town

Wind your way to the heart of the Cape Winelands through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Savour the beauty and wine of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl.

Day 14:

Cape Town City Tour

Cape Town

Embark on a morning city tour showcasing Cape Town from its historical beginnings to the upbeat city it is today. The tour end with a visit to Table Mountain (weather permitting; cable car fee not included). Return to the hotel to enjoy the remainder of your evening at leisure.
